VeilRoute

Anti-bot sensor API

Valid Akamai sessions, without a headless browser.

Akamai Web and BMP mobile block scrapers with sensor data they compute in the browser or the app. VeilRoute returns that sensor from a single HTTP request, so you send the real call yourself, through your own proxy.

Drop-in

Fits the stack you already have.

No SDK lock-in and no browser farm to run. One endpoint, one header, your own HTTP client and egress.

Any language

A plain JSON endpoint with an X-Api-Key header. Call it from curl or any HTTP library you already use.

Your setup

Keep your own proxies and egress IPs. The sensor VeilRoute returns is sent on the request you make, from the address you choose.

A key per product

Akamai Web and Akamai BMP mobile are separate products — each with its own key and subdomain.

Accounts are reviewed by hand. VeilRoute is for teams with a legitimate reason to collect data, not a generic bypass marketplace.

Platform

One product per bot wall.

Each target gets a dedicated engine. Today VeilRoute covers Akamai on web and on mobile.

Available

Akamai Web

Sensor data for the browser challenge, generated in an isolated runtime and tied to the session cookies you pass in.

  • sensor_data for the _abck cookie
  • Takes your initial _abck / bm_sz
  • Returns the updated cookie jar

Available

Akamai BMP (mobile)

Mobile SDK sensor for the x-acf-sensor-data header. The sensor is not tied to an IP, so you can send it from any proxy.

  • Android sensor, SDK 4.2.0
  • One request per sensor
  • Pairs with an OkHttp-style TLS client

Use cases

Built for teams that need reliable web data.

Wherever a protected site stands between you and data you are allowed to collect.

Travel & fare data

Read live availability and prices from airline and travel sites at scale.

Price monitoring

Track competitor and marketplace pricing without a browser per check.

Market research

Gather public catalog and inventory data for analysis.

Synthetic monitoring

Watch your own protected endpoints from outside, continuously.

QA & testing

Exercise flows behind bot protection in automated test suites.

AI agents

Give agents a reliable way to reach data behind Akamai.

Why not a browser

A headless browser pays for the whole page to read one field.

Running Chrome per request burns CPU, memory and time. A sensor call does the one thing the bot wall checks.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Why do scrapers get blocked?

Akamai expects sensor data computed by the browser or the mobile SDK. A plain HTTP client never produces it, so the request is challenged or denied. VeilRoute computes that sensor for you.

Which targets are supported?

Akamai Web and Akamai BMP (mobile) are available today. More Akamai surfaces and other vendors are on the roadmap. Ask us if you need a specific one.

Do I use my own proxy?

Yes. VeilRoute returns the sensor; you send the actual request from your own egress. For Akamai Web, generate the sensor and send the request from the same clean session for best results.

Is this legal?

VeilRoute is a tool. You are responsible for collecting only data you are permitted to access and for following each site's terms and the law that applies to you. Accounts are reviewed, and abuse is grounds for termination.

How does pricing work?

Per resolved sensor, with dedicated-concurrency plans for higher volume. Early accounts are onboarded by hand; contact us for a key.
